This high-quality statue showcases a mature, serious, and defensive Splinter, balancing on an old network of pipes and brick walls, wearing a shabby maple kimono and holding his wooden staff in front of his body, ready to fight any villain that threatens his sons. Completely unaware of what’s happening beneath the city, the anthropomorphic mutant ninja rat teaches his four turtle brothers the art of Ninjutsu, preparing them to face their archenemies like Shredder, Krang, Bebop, and Rocksteady.

Hamato Yoshi was once a great martial art instructor and leader of his ninja clan in Japan. After an accident with a substance called Mutagen, he was transformed into a humanoid rat, just like his pet turtles who also mutated into humanoid bodies with intelligence. He took on the name Splinter and gave his turtles names of painters and sculptors from a book of Renaissance Art, starting to act as a father and master to his four chelonian heroes.
